Play Chinchón online
Seven cards, sets and runs, and close with five points or less. Play Chinchón, the Spanish rummy, with the Spanish deck in your phone, tablet or computer browser: open a table and send the link to your friends, find people at a public table or practise against bots.
- Three to six players
- Free, nothing to download
- Optional Google account
- Phone, tablet and computer

How to start a game
- Press “Play Chinchón now”. Barajamos opens with Chinchón already chosen.
- Choose how to play. “Play with friends” opens a room with a six-character code and a link to share. “Find a game” seats you at a public table. “Play against bots” deals straight away.
- Send the link. Whoever opens it joins your table without installing anything. The room starts with three chairs and adds one each time someone joins a full table, up to six. If people are missing, the host can seat bots.
- When everyone is ready, deal. The host starts the game and everyone gets seven cards.
What Chinchón on Barajamos offers
- With your friends, through a link
- Create the room, share the link or the code and play, each from home. Nobody has to sign up or download anything.
- Public table
- “Find a game” puts you together with other people who want to play. The cards are dealt as soon as the table is full.
- Against bots, at your own pace
- Three levels: Tavern Apprentice, Felt Fox and Salon Legend. The game is saved in your browser and carries on where you left it when you reload.
- The table does the maths
- It sorts your hand into sets and runs, tells you how many points you would have left unmatched with each discard and only lets you close when you can. When someone closes, it lays out everyone’s cards and adds up the score.
- Two rejoins
- If you go over 70 points, you can get back into the game with a rejoin chip. Each player has two per game.
- Chips, ranking and five languages
- Every game earns chips. With a Google account, your progress is saved on all your devices. The table speaks Spanish, Valencian, Portuguese, English and French.
The rules in a minute
Three to six players, each for themselves, with seven cards. The aim is to meld them so you are left with as few points as possible. The essentials:
- It is played with the 48-card Spanish deck, with eights and nines. With five or six players, two decks are used.
- On your turn you draw a card, from the stock or the discard pile, and discard another.
- Melds: three or more cards of the same number, or three or more consecutive cards of the same suit.
- Closing: when you discard you can close the hand if your unmatched cards add up to 5 points or less. Each unmatched card counts its number: the jack 10, the knight 11 and the king 12.
- Whoever goes over 70 points is eliminated. The last player still in the game wins, or whoever closes with Chinchón: seven consecutive cards of the same suit.
