What Solitario on Barajamos offers
- Two solitaires
- Classic Solitario, with seven columns and four foundations from ace to king, and Spider, with two decks and ten columns in which you build runs from king to ace.
- With the Spanish deck
- It is played with all 48 cards, eights and nines included. As the Spanish deck has no red and black cards, in Classic you build down by changing suit.
- Tap or drag
- A tap sends the card to its best spot: its foundation if it can go up and, if not, the first column that accepts it. You can also drag it, or play with the keyboard.
- Undo and hint
- Undo has no limit. If you get stuck, the hint suggests a useful move. In the classic game, once it is already won, “Finish” sends up the remaining cards.
- Your tally
- Moves and time for each game and, for each mode, how many you have played, how many you have won and your best time. It is saved in this browser.
- At your own pace
- No opponents, no turns and no connection with anyone: Solitario gives no chips and does not count towards the ranking. The table speaks Spanish, Valencian, Portuguese, English and French.
The rules in a minute
You win by getting all the cards in order. The essentials of each mode:
- Classic Solitario: 48 cards, seven columns and a stock. Move the cards up to four foundations, one per suit, from ace to king. In the columns you build down one card at a time, changing suit, and only a king can go into an empty column.
- You draw from the stock one card at a time or three at a time, and the discard pile is flipped over as many times as needed.
- Spider: two decks, 96 cards and ten columns. Build eight runs from king to ace in a single suit. You build down one card at a time whatever the suit, but only cards of the same suit move together.
- In Spider, each deal puts one more card on every column. One suit is gentler and four suits is harder.

Frequently asked questions
- Is it free?
- Yes. You play free in your browser, with nothing to download.
- Do I need to sign up?
- No. You do not even need to type a name: you choose the solitaire and it is dealt.
- What is the difference between Classic and Spider?
- Classic is played with one deck and the cards go up to four foundations. Spider uses two decks and the cards are built into complete runs inside the columns.
- Why are there no red and black cards?
- Because the Spanish deck has no colours. Where solitaire with the French-suited deck alternates red and black, here you change suit.
- Which is the easiest?
- Classic drawing one, and Spider with one suit. Drawing three, or playing Spider with two or four suits, makes it harder.
- Can I undo a move?
- Yes, as many as you like, back to the first move of the game.
- Is the game saved?
- Yes, in this browser: when you come back it carries on where you left it. If you leave the table with “Leave”, it is deleted.
- Does it work on my phone?
- Yes, upright or sideways, and also on tablets and computers. On a phone, Spider plays better sideways: the cards look almost twice as big.
